This is one of the best piece of news ever.
i could still remember how much i disliked this project, personal context. We were supposed to announce our arrival to the industry and that was it. The brief may sound simple but try marketing yourself and you will feel the pain.
So i though of putting things i like together, doodling, dreaming and notebooks& organizers and that is how it all started. The concept was to let the audience rediscover the child in them, to dream and doodling where there are no lines to draw what is right and what is wrong.
The first mock up of the book was disastrous, the pages were falling out and the binding was terribly done. i was ashamed of the workmanship during the final presentation but I am glad things didnt stop there. I did some touching ups and re-illustrated some of the illustration in the book and sent it for crowbar awards in 2010.
Thereafter i fell in love with book binding and illustrating became part of me. The dream machine, instead of it telling a story of me as a designer i think it allowed me to rediscover myself and my potentials.
The Dream Machine
A sketchbook that gives you space to explore,
a world to dream of. Dreams, the ability to soar
the skies freely, where there are infinite possibilities.
Dreams, where the innocence of childhood allows
your imagination to fly.
Through the many intriguing illustrations, you will
rediscover the child in you again. Remember, dreaming
is easy but, keeping your dream alive is not. So dream
anything, anytime, anywhere.
Now, let’s start dreaming
